Get The Look: Miranda Kerr’s Classic Wedding Day Beauty
When you’re a top supermodel and a Victoria’s Secret Angel looking fabulous is part of the job, but looking your bridal best on your wedding day is a whole other story.
On May 27th Miranda Kerr tied the knot to Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel during an intimate rose filled ceremony in their L.A. redidence. Wearing a breathtaking custom-made Christian Dior couture wedding gown, Miranda took matters into her own hands when it came to her makeup. Going for a “simple and timeless” look, Miranda’s process was minimal, with results that left her looking absolutely stunning. The newlywed shared every product she used to attain her pretty and polished look with Vogue Magazine, as well as steps on how she applied each item. Below you can follow along with her step-by-stop guide and shop the look as you go.
After fully cleansing her skin Miranda spritzed on Kora Organics Balancing Rose Facial Mist, then applied her NuFace Toning Device (a tightening tool which requires water and/or a gel to work properly) for a little lift and boost. She then applied the Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil a rich, powerful, yet delicate treatment designed for the face and neck, followed by a little bit of the Kora Soothing Moisturizer. Miranda then applied a lightweight foundation by Suqqu, using painting motions with a dense foundation brush. Keeping things light, she then put on a small amount of RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up Concealer underneath her eyes. For a flush to the cheeks (and a dusting to the lids to make her eyes ‘pop’) the self proclaimed blush addict applied one of her favorites, the La Prairie Cellular Radiance Cream Blush in ‘Rose Glow’. To keep the look light and glowing, Miranda next applied a slight dusting of MAC pressed powder , focusing on her forehead, nose, and cheeks.
Moving onto the brows and eyes, The Kora Organics founder used one of her favorite products to get her eyebrows looking groomed and natural. The model applied Glossier Boy Brow (she’s obsessed with this one) to help make her brows appear sharper and fuller. To ‘brighten’ her eyes she next used the Tom Ford Cream & Powder Eye Color in ‘Golden Peach’. Miranda then coated her lashes with Lancome’s Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara.
To polish things off, the blushing bride first lined her pout with Laura Mercier’s ‘Baby Lips’ pencil, then applied Dior Addict’s Lip Glow Color Revivier Balm (pink). For lipstick she combined two of her favorites by celebrity makeup artist and close friend, Charlotte Tilbury. First applying the shade ‘Walk of Shame’ , followed by a layer of ‘Amazing Grace‘ on top. The latter shade is more on the softer pink side for a “timeless and elegant” look.
So there you have it! A breakdown of how you too can look and feel model-worthy beautiful on your wedding-or any special occasion.
