Best Dressed of The Week
From the red carpet to the streets, this week in celebrity fashion was red, hot, and chic.
At the New York premiere of Marvel’s “The Defenders” actress Krysten Ritter showed off her trim figure in a sparkling, asymmetrical cut-out gown by Julien MacDonald. Krysten referred to the dazzling piece as her “dream dress” and I can certainly see why, as it fits her body like a glove. While attending “The Last Tycoon” premiere in Los Angeles, Lily Collins was pretty in pleats. The brunette beauty wore a beautiful metallic two-toned skirt by Reem Acra which perfectly completed the 1930’s theme of the film. One of my favorite street style ladies, former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo never leaves the house without looking her best. While hitting the streets of the Big Apple Olivia looked more like she was on a photoshoot than going for a casual stroll. Wearing head toe red, a Magda Butrym dress and knee high boots by Lesilla, anyone else could have easily overdone this look but Olivia pulls it off with ease. On a more muted, but just as glamorous note Nicole Kidman reminded us that she is still indeed a red carpet queen. At the “Top of The Hill: China Girl” (which you MUST watch if you haven’t) premiere in Sydney the Aussie native donned a frilly tulle frock by Zuhair Murad Couture. It’s no secret that I’ve never met a Zuhair look I didn’t like, so to say I adore this on Nicole would be an understatement. I love the ladylike a charm of this design, and she was styled to perfection with simple gold ankle strap sandals, a cherry red lip and a polish loose updo.
