Get The Look: Blake Lively’s Rosy Regal Makeup From The 2018 Met Gala
The final Met Gala beauty look that I am featuring is on the woman (who in my opinion) stole the show. Blake Lively has become somewhat of a Met Gala veteran, and along the way she has learned exactly how to nail the theme without looking costumey or too over the top.
For this year’s ‘Heavenly Bodies’ theme Blake’s longtime makeup artist Kristofer Buckle was inspired by Italian religious paintings while creating the star’s rosy beauty look. Since Blake is a L’oreal ambassador, Buckle naturally used the popular drugstore brand to take her natural beauty to the next level. To achieve her regal, yet ethereal look Kristofer focused on glowing bronzed skin, a rose hued smoky eye, and a deep berry stained lip.
My favorite thing about this look (other than the fact that it is stunning) is that buying the products won’t break the bank. There are some amazing finds at the drugstore nowadays, and L’oreal sits right on the top of that list.
If you want to re-create this Catholic goddess look at home, simply shop through all of the items that Kristofer used below.
