Get The Look: Lily Collins’ Gothic Beauty From The 2018 Met Gala
The Heavenly Bodies theme at last night”s Met Gala wasn’t just for religion inspired fashion, it also applied to beauty. Makeup artist Fiona Stiles was inspired by the dark arts while creating Lily Collins’ Gothic glam look.
Masters’ paintings and old marble sculptures led the sources of inspiration for the look which consisted of porcelain, luminous, smoky jeweled eyes, and a deep plum-onyx lip. The real standout of this look for me was the celestial tears, especially the blood red one which was a nod to the the tears of virgins (heavy stuff.) I love that Fiona clearly spent time getting inspired for this look, and that the whole way through creating it, she kept the Catholic theme in mind.
Below Ms. Stiles shares all of the beautiful Lancôme products she used for Lily’s ‘heavenly’ face, which in my opinion was the most creative beauty look of the night.
