Get The Look: Saoirse Ronan’s Dewy Glamour At The “Mary Queen Of Scots” NYC Premiere
Oscar nominated actress Saoirse Ronan possesses one of those unique kind of beauty’s that stands out all on it’s own, but there’s nothing like a dusting of Pat McGrath Labs to help bring out the Irish stunner’s exquisite features.
For the “Mary Queen of Scots” NYC premiere makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua accentuated Saoirse’s porcelain skin giving it a soft, dewy appearance, while making her beautiful blue eyes pop using rich shades of rose gold and coppery brown. Kara kept the lips looking supple and dainty with a rosy sheen pout. This is one of those looks that highlights the woman’s beauty without overpowering her face with a ton of products. I love how fresh and sophisticated the end result is, and that she used one of my favorite luxury brands to create it.
Below Kara shares the key products from Pat McGrath Labs that she used to get Saoirse ready to glow the night away on the red carpet.
“Inspired by the cream, ruffled modern Mary dress from the Gucci runway, I created a dewy shimmery look with piecy lashes and brows with a coral bright stain to keep it clean, fun and modern.”
Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Highlighter & Balm Duo (applying the balm first then the highlighter on the cheeks and brow bones.)
Pat McGrath Labs Sublime Skin Highlighting Trio (applied on top for additional glow.)
Pat McGrath Labs Perma Precision Liquid Eyeliner (to pop the outer half of her upper lashline I applied a thin black line.)
Pat McGrath Labs Mothership V: Bronze Seduction Palette
-Using the shade Rose Gold #005 to add a wet looking shimmer along lower and upper lashline.
-I then added the shade ‘Astral Luna Gold’ to the center of the lid and inner corner of the eyes.
-To add a bit of contour in the crease, I blended softly towards the bridge of the nose using the shade ‘Entrapment’.
Pat McGrath Labs Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil (in ‘Buff ‘which stained the edges of her lips to define but not overpower.)
Pat McGrath Lip Fetish Sheer Color Balm (in ‘Passion Flower 524’ used to moisturize and stain her lips.)
