Get The Look: Lady Gaga’s Rockstar Glamour At The 61st Annual Grammy Awards
Makeup artist Sarah Nicole Tanno has turned out some pretty amazing looks on the always enchanting Lady Gaga, especially during this busy awards season. For tonight’s Grammy Awards Sarah gave Gaga a relaxed, rocker-chic look that (in my opinion) is one of her very best to date.
Gaga wore a dazzling Celine by Hedi Slimane silver sparkler on the red carpet. Everything from the shimmer to the structure oozed an effortless rocker vibe, so naturally her hair and makeup had to be the perfect balance to make the look sensational. Sexy, smudgy eyes, lightly bronzed skin and pinky nude lips made the “Shallow” singer not only a multiple winner for the evening, but also a standout on the red carpet.
Below Sarah breaks down the look and all of the essential Marc Jacobs Beauty products she used to create it.
I wanted her makeup to look lived in. A messy black liner smudged imperfectly.
I used Marc Jacobs Beauty Blacquer Highliner Gel Crayon on the outer corners top and bottom, and smudged the liner so it looked like I put it on yesterday. I used the new Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Longwear Eyeshadow ‘Steel(etto)’ Palette. I used the black “Catwalk” shade to diffuse the liner by just buffing in on top, and the neutral shade “The Concrete” to shape the eye naturally. (This is my new go to palette.)
To add definition I layered Blacquer Magic Marc’er at the lash line. We decided to skip mascara and lashes. It was about the shape of the eye and not about being too glam.
On her lips I only applied Enamored lip gloss stick in ‘Sugar Sugar’ so they looked paled out nude.
