Get The Look: Lucy Hale’s Earthy Eyes and Scarlet Lips At The 2019 Teen Choice Awards
The Teen Choice Awards were held yesterday in Hermosa Beach and the show’s host Lucy Hale looked every inch a summer bombshell.
From her porcelain skin to her her piercing green eyes, Lucy has a face made for makeup. Bringing out the dark haired beauty’s stunning features makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used earthy tones for the eyes, bronzed violet hues on the cheeks and finished off the look with a bold red lip. I love the mixture of summertime fun and classic old Hollywood glamour that Kelsey created here. The added bonus to this look is that all of the products are on the more affordable side, so not only is it pretty no fuss-it’s also not going to break the bank.
Below Kelsey shares the key products she used (along with application tips) to get Lucy ready for an evening of hosting duties by the beach.
Sephora Collection Super Matte Moisturizer (in the t-zone to combat shine)
e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer (into the sides of the nose and middle of the forehead to make sure those areas stay smooth and shine free.)
e.l.f. Cosmetics Flawless Finish Foundation (to even out skintone)
e.l.f. Cosmetics 16HR Camo Concealer (just where she needed a little extra coverage, such as under the eyes)
e.l.f. Cosmetics Aqua Beauty ‘Bronzed Violet’ Blush & Bronzer (to create the blush bomb on her cheekbones. I used the same palette to contour her face and add a little dimension.)
e.l.f. Cosmetics Wow Brow Gel (to brush up the brows)
e.l.f. Cosmetics Ultra Precise Brow Pencil (to fill in any sparse areas)
e.l.f. Cosmetics The New Classics Eyeshadow Palette (starting with the color ‘Earth’ to define the eyes, then ‘Charmer’ & ‘Beloved’ to the lids)
e.l.f. Cosmetics Volume Plumping Mascara (to make the lashes extra dark and fluffy)
e.l.f. Cosmetics ‘Red Carpet’ Moisturizing Lipstick (for the perfect red pout)
