From the chic styles of Paris Fashion week to the Duchess of Sussex giving us that chic Markle sparkle, this week’s Best Dressed list is delivering the very best in celebrity fashion.
The couture shows in Paris always bring out the very best in A-list attendees and with that comes standout celebrity style. Some of my favorite looks from the prestigious fashion week are Mandy Moore serving flirty sophistication in Fendi, Olivia Palmero looking red hot in classic Valentino, and Penelope Cruz being the very picture of Chanel class. On the royal front, Meghan Markle was a ray of designer sunshine in a Brandon Maxwell design while attending the Commonwealth Youth Reception in London. It had been a minute since we saw a hint of Meghan’s pre-royal style, but this sunny offering was a pleasant reminder that the brunette beauty is still here to give us fabulous fashion surprises.

The Cannes Film Festival, The Billboard Awards, the Royal Wedding! It has been a whirlwind of events since my last Best Dressed post. Usually I like to do a Cannes red carpet round-up of all my favorite looks, but unfortunately I got busy and the window of time I had to do so escaped me. So this week’s double batch of celebrity fashion will include several of those unforgettable film festival moments.
Best Dressed Met Ball Edition: Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination Costume Institute Gala
When it comes to the best and biggest moments in celebrity fashion we have the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, and of course the Met Gala. All three are very unique in their own right, and last night in NYC the Met Ball proved why it is in a league all of its own.
The Cannes Film Festival is without a doubt my most favorite time of the year on the red carpet. Yes, even more so than the Oscars or the Met Gala. Cannes is 12 glorious days of red carpet glamour and the very best in celebrity fashion. Even more exciting this year is the jury which will include filmmaker Ava DuVernay, actresses Kristen Stewart and Léa Seydoux under the presidency of the one and only Cate Blanchett.
After a bit of a fashion lull (due to the ending of award season) the red carpet is back and delivering stellar looks, mostly thanks to Oscar de la Renta. The fashion house is known for producing classically beautiful designs, and that is exactly what the ladies of Hollywood embraced in this week’s Best Dressed list.
