Beauty Report: Chanel Beauty Fall 2017 Collection
Lucia Pica, Chanel beauty’s Global Creative Makeup Director and Color Designer took inspiration for the brand’s Fall 2017 collection from a California roadtrip.
The landscape influences are brought to life in each of the products, from the warm gritty shades of the desert to the cool tones of the coast. The color selections showcase hues that are reminiscent of all things California. The dreamy blue waters of Malibu, the twinkling lights of Hollywood, and the coral sunsets over Santa Monica all come to mind while viewing this stunning collection. Moss covered hillsides and concrete boulevards even helped inspire Lucia‘s vision, making this collection a travel diary come to life. What better woman to represent the ad campaign than California born and raised star Kristen Stewart. Kristen has been the muse of many Chanel campaigns, but her beauty ads continue to be my absolute favorite. Her gorgeous green eyes and flawless porcelain skin can pull off makeup looks from the most simple and low-key, to bold and dramatic. Above you will see Kristen wearing a look Lucia created using products from the new line, and below you can check out each piece. The collection launches in the U.S. in August, and September worldwide.
