Williams Sonoma Partners With No Kid Hungry And Various Celebrities To Launch ‘Tools For Change’ Campaign
One of the best ways to bring awareness to an amazing cause is to call on celebrities who can help spread the word and make an impact. That is just what Williams Sonoma and No Kid Hungry are doing yet again this year with their ‘Tools For Change’ collection.
The 6th annual ‘Tools For Change’ benefits No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to end childhood hunger in America. This year, the retailer is aiming to raise $3 million, which will help connect American children in need to nearly 30 million meals. The 2020 celebrities who designed tea towels and spatulas include the likes of the country queen herself, Dolly Parton whose design (in true Dolly fashion) is a colorful soaring butterfly. “Frozen” star Kristen Bell who decorated her pieces with her cooking ‘Love Language’ in adorable red hearts, and there’s even one by the best known ‘Momager’ in the business-Kris Jenner. I mean, don’t we all need a spatula that features one of her best “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” one liners? There is of course also items by beloved chefs/authors like the warm and bubbly Ina Garten (who went for a sophisticated party theme) and Italian beauty Giada De Laurentiis who aimed for a fall affect with falling leaves.
No Kid Hungry is one of the most important causes in America today, making sure that all kids have healthy meals they can thrive on. Williams Sonoma, the premier specialty retailer of home furnishings and gourmet cookware in the United States, began its partnership with Share Our Strength and the No Kid Hungry Campaign in the fall of 2010 by raising funds, awareness and consumer engagement in stores and online.
Each spatula retails for $14.95 and helps provide up to 40 meals for children in need, and each tea towel retails for $12.95 and helps connect kids with up to 35 meals. You can shop the entire collection no in WilliamsSonoma.com
