Beauty Report: Pat McGrath Labs ‘The Celestial Divinity Collection’
It may officially be fall, but the holiday beauty collections are dropping early this year, and with everything going on in the world right now I am welcoming them open arms. No one serves up a more cosmically beautiful sight than the mother of makeup herself, Pat McGrath.
If you visit this site often you already know about my love affair with Pat McGrath Labs, it’s the luxury makeup I simply can’t get enough of. From the exquisite packaging to the dazzling products themselves, the brand is in a league all of it’s own. Being a professional makeup artist for most of her career, Pat McGrath knows exactly what she’s looking for in products and she just keeps delivering it to us release after release. Her holiday 2020 collection was just revealed and to say it is stunning would be a huge understatement.
Now if you are familiar with Pat items then you already know they are on the pricier side of things, especially her otherworldly eyeshadow palettes. So when I saw the Celestial Divinity with it’s 18 shades I was a little scared to find out the price, but I was pleasantly surprised. While most of her palettes with only 10 shades usually retail for $125, this mega beauty (which has smaller pans) is only $78. Personally, I don’t mind the downsizing of pans to get more shade options and a less bougie component. There are also new eyeshadow quads in ‘Fleur Fantasia’, ‘Risqué Rose’ and ‘Interstellar Icons’. Outside of the eyes is 3 new MatteTrance lipsticks (2 repeat shades), 3 new crystalized lipsticks, 4 holiday sets for both lips and eyes, a new champagne gold Skin Fetish highlighter, and 2 new Fetish lip balms. There’s seriously so many things I want from this collection that the narrowing down process will be no easy task.
Below you can get a sneak peek at what’s to come to the Pat McGrath website this Friday (September 25th) when the collection makes it’s official launch. A Sephora date has yet to be announced, but I will be sure to update this post once it does. Like with my any new Pat products I highly recommend jumping online as soon as these babies go on sale because they are sure to be items that will sell out in a flash.
