Beauty Report: Sola Look “Beverly Hills 90210” Eye & Face Palette

Hold on to your chokers and Doc Martens 90’s peeps, we’re about to get a glorious blast from the past in the form of our favorite thing-makeup. Sola Look has created a colorful eyeshadow/face palette paying tribute to one of the best shows ever (in my opinion) and it’s beloved characters.

I stumbled onto this fun and inventive brand (Sola Look) through everyone’s favorite beauty news gal, Trendmood. As a hardcore 91201 fan I squealed with joy the second I saw this. The very idea of dedicating makeup to iconic films and tv shows is pretty iconic. I don’t think any series represented glamour to me growing up quite like this Aaron Spelling hit. The shades are adorably named after the unforgettable characters. And while I will always be #TeamKellyandDylan, I had a chuckle at the cheeky ‘Steve Hearts Steve’ tribute. The majority of the colors are quite vibrant and shiny, very much L.A. in the 90s. Here is a little description from the Sola website about this totally rad palette:

Each order comes with a Team Brenda/Team Kelly postcard and a “Donna Martin Graduates” sticker. 

The $40 90210 palette contains 6 eyeshadows (both mattes and shimmers), 3 highlighters and what looks to be a blush/highlighter combo. The launch date is set for January 17th at 9pm PST, so mark your calendars as I fully expect this little beauty just might sell out.
