Summer Lovin’: LC Lauren Conrad Beach Collection

If you are anything like me (and most girls of the mid 00’s era) you spent a great deal of your 20s coveting the style of one Ms. Lauren Conrad.

MTV’s wildly popular shows ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘The Hills’ first introduced us to LC and her impeccable style back in 2004. Sure, there were a lot of headband moments but let’s not pretend we didn’t all run out buy a few of our own. Today marks the 11th anniversary of ‘The Hills’ debut (I feel so old!) and also the expansion of Lauren’s growing empire. A few years ago Lauren teamed up with the popular department store Kohls in an attempt to bring her chic style to an affordable, accessible market. To say she hit gold would be an understatement. I can’t even count how many pieces I now own from the LC Lauren Conrad collection. Today the line introduced it’s first full swimwear collection. Lauren announced the news on her Instagram, showcasing her adorable growing baby bump. The pieces are all a direct reflection of Lauren’s Southern California upbringing and classy, ladylike style. One pieces, bikinis, cover-ups, airy shorts-she covered all the bases of beachwear needs. I am especially drawn to the palm tree and banana leaf patterns found on several designs that personally remind me of the beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel. Since Kohls is always having a sale the line currently ranges from $24.99-$50.99. You can’t beat those prices, or the fact that all of these items are both functional and fashionable. The sizes range from XS to XXL. Below are a few of my LC favorites, if you see something you love it’s best to grab it while you can as Lauren’s pieces are known to fly off the shelves.
