Get The Look: Cardi B’s Dreamy Pastel Fantasy

Nobody knows how to get people talking quite like the always sassy Cardi B. After dropping her latest song “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion this week the internet can’t stop buzzing. Naturally there were looks a plenty in the video, and this shot (which is being used to promote it) left me swooning.

Makeup artist Erika La’ Pearl turned out so many beauty looks for the shoot that I honestly found it hard to chose a favorite, then she posted this magical creation and I knew it was the one I had to feature. If you know me then you won’t be surprised why I am so charmed by this look in particular. I adore anything whimsical, sweet and filled with fantasy. A purple and blue ombre rainbow mane paired with pastel sunset eyes is just about as close as you can get to a human unicorn, am I right? I also love seeing this softer side to Cardi. The Grammy winner is usually serving high glam that plays up her undeniable sexiness. This look was a nice departure to something a bit more demure and sugary, and I’m here for it.
