No matter how many Disney themed beauty collaborations come out I don’t think I will ever tire of them, especially when they are as magical and glamorous as this one!
Estée Lauder is well known for their exquisite limited edition compacts, but when you throw in Disney Princesses things skyrocket to a whole new level. Designer & storyteller Monica Rich Kosann has created dazzling bejeweled pieces inspired by 8 classic Walt Disney fairytale films. Each spirited heroine gets a pressed translucent powder compact as well as a fragrance compact dedicated to telling her enchanted story. Decorated in a shiny gold enamel and glittering Swarovski crystals each compact also comes with an engraved quote from each story. For example, Belle’s powder compact features her signature golden gown and the beautiful falling rose, while it’s matching perfume compact is the delightful Mrs.Potts.
Naturally pieces this divine do not come at a cheap price, each powder compact runs between $150-$175, while the perfume version is even higher at $250-$300. The compacts are most definitely targeted to Disney collectors, as well as makeup lovers. These are the type of items you set out on your vanity as a conversation piece, more so than something you toss in your daily bag for touch-ups. I myself am totally charmed by this collection and would be overjoyed to own any of them.
