I don’t like to pick favorites when it comes to celebrities and their glam teams, but for over 20 years no one has dazzled me more than the duo of powerhouse singer/actress/dancer Jennifer Lopez and her beyond talented makeup artist Scott Barnes.
Scott is not only responsible for being a big part of Jennifer’s most memorable looks throughout her career, he is also the very man who made the JLO “glow” a phenomenon. Well all of these years later Jen is still glowing and we’re still coveting! With Covid being a major obstacle for the entertainment industry over the last year, and Scott continuing to work on his own growing beauty brand (which is sensational) we haven’t gotten many beauty moments from the two. But thanks to vaccines and an event encouraging others to get it themselves, we finally got our dynamic pair back together.
Jennifer headlined the event as only she can giving us glittering costume changes, cascading hair (shoutout to the amazing Chris Appleton) and naturally makeup to make us swoon. For such a glamorous event and performance Scott had our favorite triple threat queen looking like the shining star she is. Smoldering smoky eyes, glowing skin and a glossy lip took centerstage, serving up the ultimate classic JLO glam that we have all grown to know and love.
