At only 21 years old actress Yara Shahidi has already made her mark as a red carpet queen. No matter what event she turns up to you can always bet she will be serving a breathtaking look from head-to-toe. That is just what the Harvard attendee did for Sunday night’s Primetime Emmy Awards.
The Grown-ish star requested to present early on the show so that she could catch a flight to make it her morning class. So yes, not only is she both talented as well as stunning, she is also a scholar who puts her education first-love that for her! However she did take time to pose for the cameras before hitting the Emmy’s stage. Wearing a Kelly green 50’s inspired Christian Dior haute couture piece paired with a chic slicked back hairstyle and flawless makeup; Yara looked every inch the modern day star that she is. To create her beauty look makeup artist Emily Cheng played up the beautiful shade of the gown with soft emerald hued eyes with just a touch of sweet golden sparkle, black smoked-out winged out liner and shiny mile long lashes. Cheng also enhanced the skin with plumy-coral contoured cheeks and a glossy deep rosewood lip. I love the timeless Grace Kelly vibe that this look exudes and the way Emily put a fresh and colorful spin on it.
