Leave it to one of the most successful models of today to steal the show at a ceremony dedicated to the best in music. That is just what the always striking Winnie Harlow did at Sunday evening’s American Music Awards.
Wearing a dazzling Zuhair Murad mini dress that was dripping in jewels and adornments, Winnie was quite the showstopper on the red carpet. I mean, if you got supermodel legs you might as well show them off am I right? But, it wasn’t just the Canadian beauty’s fashion that had heads turning. Nothing makes a fabulous outfit complete without some amazing hair and makeup to set everything off. Makeup artist Adam Burrell played up Harlow’s stunning almond shaped eyes with soft hues of taupe and khaki, gave her skin a lovely bronzy glow and created the perfect sandy nude lip. I love the balance Adam was able to create here with the contrast of her flashy dress and classic 90’s glam makeup (the semi-messy updo and dark lined eyes gave me major Janet Jackson “Love Will Never Do (Without You)” vibes.
