The moment I saw Jessica Chastain floating down the red carpet in that gorgeous glittering Gucci gown at tonight’s Academy Awards, I knew she looked like a winner. And winning she did, as the red haired stunner took home the Oscar for her flawless performance in The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
For the special occasion makeup artist Kristofer Buckle took inspo from Jessica’s fairytale-esque gown, giving her sparkling champagne-rose eyes, warm apricot cheeks and a pinky-mauve lip. I loved how simple and polished both her hair and makeup were, allowing her dreamy dress to do most of the talking. Let’s put it this way, if you’re gonna become an Oscar winner you really can’t look much better than this. This entire look was Hollywood glamour personified.
