Get The Look: Kristen Stewart’s Warm Smoky Eyes & Classic Nude Lips At The 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars Party
Leave it to Best Actress nominee Kristen Stewart to break the traditional style rules for the Oscars. The Spencer star ditched a glamorous gown for edgy shorts and a fitted jacket (both by Chanel.) Love it or hate it, the girl knows how to get people talking.
Kristen’s team all stressed that this appearance and look was all about showcasing her signature, authentic style; which of course is a often a nod to chic androgyny. While Kristen didn’t serve up a dazzling dress for the ceremony, she did come in hot at the Vanity Fair after-party. Donning a sexy see-through black lace number from Chanel’s Fall 2022 Ready-To-Wear collection. A quick hair change by Adir Abergel and a makeup touch-up was all she needed to get her party on.
It’s Kristen’s mixture of Hollywood glamour and rocker edge that always makes me a fan of her beauty looks. For last night’s star-studded events makeup artist Jillian Dempsey stuck with Stewart’s favorite kind of face, which includes a slightly winged out warm smoky eye, luminous skin and a natural peachy-nude lip. Kristen has gorgeous, sparkling green eyes so a smoky effect is always a lovely way to bring them out, and since red lips are not a favorite of hers, you can never go wrong with a classic nude. The Chanel ambassador may not have won the big award, but you can bet she will be all the talk for quite some time after these looks.
Below Jillian shares the key Chanel products she used to get the Twilight beauty ready for her first Academy Awards as an official nominee.
