It’s been a minute since we’ve had a Kristen Stewart in Chanel moment, but the green eyed beauty changed that today as she arrived at the Nouvelles Vagues Festival in Biarritz France. Since that part of the world is having quite a heatwave at the moment, Kristen’s attendance as jury president only made things even hotter.
Decked out in a ladylike-meets-sporty Chanel set fresh from the brand’s Resort 2027 collection, this ensemble felt very in tune with Kristen’s often edgy and androgenous style. Still sporting a shorter, shaggy hair cut allowed for her stunning face to be the star of the show. While I love a super smoked out look on the Twilight beauty, her recent lean-in towards the “clean girl” beauty trend feels very fitting for a steamy summer’s day. Makeup artist Charlotte Prevel played up Kristen’s strikingly best features, letting her piercing emerald eyes and exquisite cheekbones do all the talking. A metallic rusty hued rimmed eye with a hint of grungy, smudgy eyeliner, sculpted dewy coppery cheeks and a very faint deep mauve lip made this look the perfect combination of soft smolder and effortless natural beauty.
