September Favorites
September was a month heavy in new beauty products I cannot get enough. From a hair collection that gives me beautiful beachy bounce, to a foundation that doesn’t budge all day long.
I ran across Redken’s Beach Envy products while searching Ulta’s website for travel size options, and after only one use I knew it was something I wanted more of. Once I arrived back from my last travel journey, I immediately ordered the full sized bottles of both the shampoo and conditioner. Even though I have naturally curly hair, I have problems finding a good washing duo that will give me root volume and soft bounce. This formula does wonders and gives you that beachy look that will never go out of style.
I also finally tried the much talked about YSL Beauty 24 Hour Foundation. I have heard so much buzz about this product that I was a little scared to try it. I often don’t end up loving the foundations that other people swear by. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. First of all I am a full coverage queen, I don’t really like having to build up a foundation. I found with one application of this formula I got the exact amount of coverage I prefer without having to use a ton of product. I used my usual brush/beauty blender combo to apply and set it with Maybeline’s Fit Me Loose Powder (also amazing and under $10!) I tried two different shades and didn’t find either oxidized on my skin. It wore well for 10+ hours without caking, moving or getting greasy. Those 3 factors alone make this one well worth it’s hefty price tag of $58.
Other goodies I am obsessed with this month is my favorite fall candle from Bath & Body Works, a candy collab with two of my favorite companies, and an eyeliner under $5 that makes wingin’ it oh so easy.
