Beauty News: Mac Cosmetics x Patrick Starr

The Youtuber/Influencer collaboration trend has been going strong for quite some time now, but not until now have I been so impressed and excited for the joining of two beauty forces.
Unlike most of the influencers now a days that thrive on drama and conflict, Patrick Starr lays low and simply gets the job done. Unlike a lot of Youtubers who simply enjoy doing their own makeup, Patrick has been a working makeup artist for years. Most recently he has glammed the famous faces of Kim Kardashian West, Katy Perry, and Ashley Tisdale. Rather than focusing on being famous, Patrick has chosen to focus on being successful. The hustle has clearly paid off as he just landed the biggest influencer collaboration to date. The talented Starr has come full circle, now teaming up with one of the world’s most well known brands. When Patrick was living in Florida and starting his makeup journey he worked at none other than Mac Cosmetics, and now he is collaborating with them. I have to admit I have grown tired of youtuber collabs, but when I saw the news of this one I couldn’t help but get excited. I love that Patrick is living proof you that with hardwork and determination you can in fact make your dreams come true. I am sure when he was working at the MAC counter he never dreamed that one day his face would be on their products, or actually maybe he did.
Patrick has scored one of the longest commitments in Mac’s collaborative history. Over the next year he will produce FIVE collections with the brand, starting on December 14th. Patrick is one of the key players in paving the way for men in makeup, so needless to say his products will be geared towards everyone. So far the only item we have gotten info on is a universal setting powder, used specifically for baking. If you have ever watched one of Patrick’s videos you already know he is a baking queen. There will also be 11 other pieces in the collection just in time for the holidays. I will of course add images and prices for the rest of the collection as they become available.
