Fresh Off The Runway: Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2018

For over a decade Prabal Gurung has been one of my favorite fashion designers. From his use of color to his ability to make women appear both soft and strong.

Prabal’s dreamy Pre-Fall collection for 2018 gives us even more of all the wonderful things is best known for. There’s sequins, there’s draping, there’s cut-outs and of course lots of color. From millennial pink to a rich marigold, to the loveliest of lavender, Prabal  has embraced his love of boldness and femininity and it is exploding all throughout this collection. I am already looking forward to seeing which pieces make it onto celebrities. There’s so may fantastic options for red carpet and editorial moments, and with awards season right around the corner I have a feeling we will be seeing many appearances from this line.
