December Favorites: Top Beauty Products of The Year
For my December Favorites I thought the most logical thing to do was to round up my favorite beauty items of the year.
Some of these products launched in 2017, while others are just discoveries that I found along the way. You may have seen a couple of these in my past monthly favorites, which proves how great they are that I am mentioning them once again. Two brand new foundations stole my heart this year, as did a little bottle of glittery magic. A classic drugstore brand stood solid against luxury formulas when it came to setting powder, and I finally found a lip pencil that is the perfect shade to complement all of my best nude lippies. The concealer heard round the world naturally made the cut, as it is in fact worth every bit of it’s hype. While I didn’t stumble across a new makeup brush that I can’t live without, I did find a mirror that I now carry with me every time I am away from my own personal vanity.
As you will be able to tell from my selections, Huda Beauty was most definitely my brand of the year. While it may be viewed as controversial by some, (controversial in the way that it seems people either love it or hate it) each product they have produced has become a go-to for me. From their FULL coverage foundation, to their color shifting lip strobe, to their beautiful eye foils-the Huda brand is totally my esthétique.
