Beauty Report: Jennifer Lopez x Inglot Cosmetics Collection

With every celebrity under the sun coming out with their own makeup line, there’s finally a collection that makes total sense. For nearly 20 years now I have been a huge fan of Jennifer Lopez. She’s the woman who can do it all, and now she is adding cosmetics to her growing list of business endeavors.

The glow queen herself has partnered with Inglot Cosmetics (who just happens to make my favorite gel liner of all time). This isn’t one of those celebrity deals where the brand is just spitting out random products sporadically, or giving you items that the the star would never even wear. This is a 70 piece-yes you heard me right-collection that perfectly reflects the JLO beauty trademark. Warm neutral toned eyes, fluffy lashes, bronzed skin, muted nails, and of course that gorgeous Jenny From the Block glow. So if you are looking for bold, crazy colors then you might want to skip this collection all together.

But, this collection is technically a color centric one, even if they are on the more subdued side. Considering there are no skincare of base products such as primer, foundation or concealer, the pieces are all about bringing warmth and sparkle to your face. The shades are all very wearable and vary from light to deep to accommodate many skintones. There’s eyeshadow singles, eye pigments, loose highlighters, pressed powders, bronzing powder, lipsticks, glosses, blushes, nail polish, and a JLO praised mascara. There is even an option to build your own custom palette.

While some people may complain that this collection is ‘boring’, I couldn’t disagree more. If you love Jennifer’s makeup then this is exactly what you would expect her to deliver in a makeup line. It’s very much based on her signature looks that we have dreamed of recreating for years. I love that this collection is such an accurate representation of her stunning beauty style. I also love that the items are on more of the affordable side. Ranging from $8.50 to $49.
