Outfit Inspiration: Gucci Glamour
If there is one brand I can’t see to get enough of right now it’s Gucci. I’ve always been a fan of the brand, especially in it’s grand days of Tom Ford manning the ship. Nowadays Alessandro Michele holds the position of creative director, and to say he’s killing it would be a major understatement.
Alessandro has brought back the true glamour of the Gucci brand. Adding little touches and details that let you know the piece your are eyeing is 100% Gucci made. When I saw the this stunning dress I knew I had to put it to good use. Made from silk-wool blend fabric featuring a crystal embellished bow neckline and a sequin frill detail this little blue dress is a stand-out piece. The bow has become a staple in adding that luxurious Gucci touch to their garments, and it’s especially eye-catching when covered in sparkling stones. To bring out the gorgeous splashes of yellow, Givenchy’s Classic Pearlescent Suede Sandals add a fun, yet sleek appeal. Edie Parker’s classic acrylic box clutch with it’s marble finish and gold trim complements the look without overpowering it, adding a touch of elegant arm candy. With a neckline filled with sparkle and detail aplenty, a simple pair of Kate Spade stud earrings are just enough jewelry to add a little extra shine. Since the look is so fun and frilly, it’s an ideal time to get creative with our makeup. The Too Faced Sketch Marker offers a clean sharp effect, and comes in a variety of shades. A pop of yellow on the eyes adds an unexpected blast of color and keeps the look youthful and fresh.
This is just one of many items that I am currently crushing on from the respected fashion house, so expect to see plenty more ‘Gucci Glamour’ in the near future.
