New In Town: Cos Bar
As a full time beauty blogger and magazine columnist, as well as a part-time makeup artist to say I have a strong love for cosmetics would be an understatement. And while I do love all makeup, I have a specific obsession with high end products. Call me ‘boujee’ if you must, but few things bring me more joy than a fresh tube of Tom Ford lipstick.
For years when I wanted something from a luxury brand my only options were to order online or make the trek to Cincinnati so that I could see the products in person. Now with The Summit at Fritz Farm‘s latest opening of Cos Bar I no longer have to do either. Cos Bar was founded in Aspen, Colorado in 1976, the luxury multi-brand retailer offers the best of the best in beauty and skincare. I made my first visit to the new Lexington store yesterday and it was everything I had hoped for and more. As I mentioned before Tom Ford is one of my favorites for beauty, from the packaging to the formulas-the prestige of the brand cannot be beat. The display at this location is absolutely breathtaking for any makeup junkie. I have visited several of the Tom Ford boutiques, and was beyond impressed how this small section perfectly reflects them. It is luxury all the way. Unlike most beauty counters in department stores that rarely carry entire collections, Cos Bar had it all. From the Mr.Ford’s private blend fragrances, to his holy grail dual ended liquid eyeliner. It was also exciting to see La Prarie, Jo Malone, Sisley Paris, Chantecaille, and Clé de Peau Beauté finally being offered in my city. While YSL and Dior are more commonly seen around these parts, the kiosks at Cos Bar are on a whole other level. The luxurious ambiance was matched with impeccable service. The girls were friendly, helpful, and inviting-making my experience all the more pleasing.
I am looking forward to future events at the store, and am beyond delighted that when I want to check out a beautiful new collection I am merely miles away from luxury beauty heaven.
