Beauty Report: MAC Cosmetics x Nicki Minaj Nude Lipstick Collection

Nicki Minaj has long been an ambassador for MAC Cosmetics. Back in 2013 the superstar created a bestselling Viva Glam lipstick “Nicki 2” (a creamy pale pink) and now she is back at it with two brand new shades.

While Ms. Minaj is staying true to her love of pink, her two newest efforts are more on the wearable nude side. Nicki has created two new Amplified shades ‘Nicki’s Nude” a soft coral pink and “The Pink Print” a mid-tone creamy pink. The all nude collection will also contain 6 lipglasses (with 1 new shade) and 18 additional lipsticks (new and re-promoted). The glosses retail for $17 and the lipsticks are $17.50 each. The collection will launch online and in select stores on September 21st. There’s a second part of the collection also on the way in 2018.

MAC’s Global Senior Artists Ashley Rudder shared swatches of the shades on a darker skintone, while Youtube sensation NikkieTutorials gave a first look of the new nudes on fair skin (see below).
