Fresh Off The Runway: Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2018

Christian Siriano always delivers a perfect blend of ladylike looks from jumpsuits to ball gowns, and his latest Pre-Fall collection doesn’t miss a beat.

There’s a beautiful variety of little black dresses, for that matter little white and little blue dresses too. These type of pieces are sure to be seen making their rounds on Hollywood starlets for talk shows, photocalls, and luncheons during awards season. The Project Runway alum is best known for delivering a major gown moment, and the designer made sure to throw a few stunners in the mix.  My personal favorite is a navy number with oversized, bedazzled tulle sleeves. It reminds me of a glamorous 80’s Barbie, which of course is always a yes in my world. The only thing missing for me is Siriano’s usual use of bold color. I realize this is Pre-Fall , but I am missing the pops of hot pink, yellow, and green that we have grown accustomed to seeing in his vibrant collections. Nevertheless, you can bet we will be seeing plenty of these looks on the red carpet and in editorial spreads in the very near future.
