Beauty Report: OPI Celebrates The 40th Anniversary of “Grease”
Grease is the word! If you grew up loving Sandy, Danny and The Pink Ladies, and if you had a thing for cosmetics you are going to swoon over OPI’s latest collection.
The nail brand is commemorating the 40th anniversary of the beloved movie musical with a beautiful 15-piece color collection. From brights and bolds to soft pastels, the shades all capture the magical moments from the film. The color selection isn’t the only thing offering a retro summery vibe, the names all pay tribute to the most memorable songs and characters. ‘Teal Me More, Teal Me More”, “Frenchie Likes To Kiss, and ‘Summer Lovin’ Had Me A Blast’ are just a few of the affectionately named polishes up for grabs.
Partnering with Paramount Pictures to celebrate an iconic film like “Grease” is just another impressive notch on OPI’s growing collection belt. Whether you want nails the same shade as Frenchie’s unforgettable pink coif, Sandy’s cherry red Rydell cheerleading uniform, or even Danny’s too cool for school black leather jacket there’s a hue for every character and every mood. In other words, if you’re a “Grease” fan than this collection will definitely be the one that you want (ohh ohh honey!).
The collection hit salons and beauty suppliers on May 1st, and will be available at other distributors throughout the month. Or you can purchase them online now ($10.50 for Nail Laquer and $12.50 for Infinite Shine) at OPI.com
