Get The Look: Kristen Stewart’s Soft & Smoky Beauty From The Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony
The last (nearly) two weeks have been filled with glitz and glamour from the Cannes Film Festival, and it’s been an especially busy one for jury member Kristen Stewart. The actress/director has delivered a bevy of Chanel looks on the red carpet, but the real scene stealer has been her often daring, and always flawless makeup.
Once makeup artist Beau Nelson took over beauty duty we saw a shift in Kristen’s makeup. Nelson has worked with Stewart for many years now and is known to push the boundaries with her looks. Beau rarely does ‘safe’ and even when he does, he does it in such a way that the face still stands out in a crowd. For the festival’s closing ceremony Beau took Kristen’s look down a few notches into elegant, ethereal territory. After seeing the César Award winner sport electric blue and heavy black looks (he even created a pearl lined eye that I am still floored over) it was a pleasant surprise to see her go soft and subtle. Kristen’s dress was also on the more delicate side, a Karl creation from the brand’s 2013 couture collection. To elevate her makeup Beau gave Kristen glowing skin, flushed cheeks, a natural toned lip and a warm, light smoky eye. The look was the perfect mix of sexy and angelic, not something you see every day.
Chanel shared all of the key products Beau used to close out a magical 12 days of film and fashion and you can shop them all below to recreate this heavenly look at home.
