Beauty Report: L’Oreal x Disney’s “Mary Poppins Returns”

There are few things I love more than makeup and Disney, so on the glorious occasion that the two forces join, I instantly become one happy girl.

After L’Oréal’s stunning collection based on 2017’s “Beauty and The Beast”, the brand has struck gold with their Disney collabs. A huge part of that success is the magical and impeccable packaging. If you are going to base a cosmetic’s collection on a Disney film, you might as well go big or go home. L’Oréal has mastered the importance of including the most cherished parts about these films and included them on every detail. For the new “Mary Poppins Returns” collection beauty lovers will find tiny clouds, dainty bow-ties, soaring umbrellas, and even shining silhouettes of Mary herself. The shades represent the colorful, happy mood of the film, offering purchasers their choice of colors from a bright cherry red, to a whimsical warm rosy peach. If Emily Blunt’s flawless makeup on the film’s poster is any indication of the beauty story behind this character, then we are certainly in for a treat.

Just like the ‘Beauty and The Beast” collection the one bummer here is U.S. availability. While the collection is currently up for purchase on Amazon Italy, there’s been no confirmed word on when or even if the lipsticks will be coming to America.
