Fashion News: Designer Ears Making Their Way To Disney Parks

If you’re a fan of both Disney and fashion then this news is probably going to excite you just as much as it has me. Anyone who frequently visits any Disney park knows just how popular their signature Minnie ears and Mickey hats are for a day of adventure. Any time a new set is released they immediately fly off stands, and now Disney is upping their topper game and taking their popular item to the next level.
As someone who obviously loves fashion, I have always wondered what it would be like if some of the world’s most popular designers and celebrities did their own take on a set of the beloved ears, and now that wish is coming true. The new designer ears collection will start rolling out at parks this summer all the way through next year. The limited series will include spirited designers like Betsey Johnson who is well known for her fun use of pink, to romantic creators like Vera Wang who will offer a bridal inspired option. I am especially excited to see what designing duo The Blonds will come up with since they have such extravagant, edgy taste. Supermodel Heidi Klum perhaps has the most glitzy of the ears so far, with her pair shimmering like a crystal encrusted tiara.
In the sneak peek shared this week, it looks like park favorites will also be celebrated on the designs. An Enchanted Tiki Room pair was previewed, as was a sweet homage to Walt himself with a design playing tribute to his very first Mickey illustration. Once released, the ears can be found at Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories, MouseGear, Uptown Jewelers, Once Upon a Time and Discovery Trading Company at Disney World. The designer line will also be available at Disneyland in Anaheim. If you can’t make it to one of the parks, the ears will be available on ShopDisney.com
