Beauty Report: Maybelline x Alice + Olivia Collection

When it comes to releasing international beauty collections no company can make me swoon with envy quite like Maybelline. Now they have teamed up with American fashion brand Alice + Olivia who are known for their adorable love of all things glamour.

Stacey Bendet, Chief Executive Officer of Alice + Olivia has created a signature mascot for the brand- a carbon cartoon copy of her signature dark hair, oversized sunglasses and love for red lipstick. Now that very face decorates Maybelline’s newest limited collection. Mascara, lipsticks, powder, eyeliner, an eyeshadow palette and more make up the line, all which retails under $30. I think my personal favorite item is the adorable Stacey head makeup bag which is free with a $50 Maybelline purchase.

This is Maybelline’s first collaboration with a major fashion brand and even though both are known as New York companies the collection itself is only available in Asia. I know, I know my American living heart is breaking a little over that part too. But hey we can always hope they decide to bring it over stateside right?
