Beauty News: Chanel’s Les Ornements de Chanel Holiday 2019 Collection

Gabrielle Chanel adored the splendor and excess of baroque style. For the brand’s 2019 holiday makeup collection, Chanel’s Global Creative Make up and Colour Designer Lucia Pica draws inspiration from this very aesthetic.

As shared on the official launch release, “Lucia dreams up festive, bold, brilliant and sophisticated makeup that, like a jewel, reveals a radiant-looking complexion and enhances the wearer’s allure.” The Les Ornements de Chanel pieces highlight Gabrielle’s love for grandeur and modernity found in the designer’s famous Parisian home and beloved fashion collections, such as shining gold leaf and Coromandel lacquer. The pressed formulas are even embossed with an ornamental motif inspired by a vintage Chanel button.

The glamour filled collection includes 1 new Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow Palette, 6 Rogue Allure Lip Colours, a limited edition highlighting powder, two ombré premiere eyeshadows, two Rogue Coco glosses, and two new longwear nail lacquers perfect for the holiday season.
