Get The Look: Jennifer Lopez’s Snatural Eyes and Glowing Skin By Scott Barnes
I have been wanting to dedicate a post to the amazingly talented Scott Barnes and his beautiful new palettes for weeks now, and what better way to do that than tossing in a little JLO glamour?
As a longtime Jennifer Lopez fan (we’re talking 20+ years over here) I have been aware of and admired the work of Scott Barnes for what feels like forever. The man who created what is now known as the JLO ‘glow’ has had products out before. A current line of amazing brushes, as well as Flossy Gloss back in the day (you best believe I owned those babies!) and now Scott has moved on to palettes.
Being a beauty professional he has a certain technique to all of his applications, as well as a preference in products. These palettes are not only beautifully packaged, you can tell by the strategically chosen shades that you are investing in a pro product by one of the best in the business. The neutral eyeshadow palette offers us ‘Snatural’ gals more wearable everyday shades, while the Colour Bomb edition is designed for when we’re in the mood to go more bold. The Glowy and Showy palette is dedicated to 8 flattering highlighters guaranteed to work their shining magic on any and all skin-tones. The sculpting palette is what Jenny From The Block dreams are made of. Scott was one of the very first artists to introduce so many of us to the amazing world of contouring and just how much it can transform the face. This one is a definite must. There is even a dreamy blush palette for adding a flush of color to the cheeks, the hues may look a little intimidating, but I can assure you after seeing them put to use that they are in fact a gorgeous addition to anyone’s beauty collection.
In the above photo shared by Scott himself. he fills us in on exactly which products (see below list) and shades he used on the stunning Ms.Lopez to give us an idea of the magic these gorgeous products can produce. I am personally saving up to get each and every one of these because I truly believe (especially as someone who does freelance makeup) these palettes will be an asset to my ever-growing kit.
