At this point I might as well just tattoo “Pat, take my money” on my forehead, because the Mother of all makeup is not stopping anytime soon. Pat McGrath is the queen of giving us makeup lovers luxury palettes to swoon over, and she just dropped another gem on us that I cannot wait to get my hands on.
After releasing several exquisite Mothership palettes makeup artist and cosmetics creator Pat McGrath has set a precedent for amazing eyeshadows. Her palettes are the perfect mix of creamy, every day wearable mattes accompanied by some of the most out of this world shimmers you will ever see. Each shade offers a depth and hue transition like none other that I have ever seen. Earlier this week Pat announced that her latest stunner the ‘Divine Rose’ palette would be getting a more colorful sister- the Rose Divine 2. Similar to it’s romantic cool toned counterpart, the Divine Rose 2 still gives us that sweet, soft appearance, but on a more elevated level. With the addition of a deep plum, a vibrant pink and a color shifting metallic the DR 2 is sure to take your rosy look up a major notch.
While Pat palettes don’t exactly run cheap (most retail around $125 USD) you have to understand you are paying for quality. From the unique packaging, to the hefty component, to of course the dreamy shadows themselves. The Divine Rose 2 will hit her website very soon and looks likely to arrive at Sephora some time in June.
