Beauty Report: Scott Barnes Glamazon Collection
Scott Barnes has been one of my favorite makeup artists for over 20 years, and while he is most well known for glamming up the always divine Jennifer Lopez he was swishing his makeup brush long before the famous JLO glow.
His latest collection Glamazon dropped just hours ago and his inspiration behind it happens to be maybe my favorite era of beauty of all-time-the 90’s. I grew up in the age of the supermodel when every magazine cover was Naomi, Christy, Cindy, Linda, Claudia, Helena, Karen,,,I could go on and on. The 90’s supermodel was all about glamour. These were women who always looked red carpet and runway ready. The collection celebrates that with a 20 pan eyeshadow palette featuring a variety of cool-tone grey shades, timeless neutrals, dazzling shimmers and vibrant pops of blue and purple. There are also 3 Body Bling Pavé Powders which mimic a crushed diamonds on the skin effect that can be used from head to toe. Scott made sure to introduce a new tool for the powders, the #69 Body Brush. The last part of the lot is hands down my favorite, 10 brand new lip liners. These are the very first lip liners the brand has released and each shade is named after one of the 90’s biggest Supermodels in the biz. There’s a midtone brown for when you’re feeling in a Tyra Banks smizing mood, a soft beige for a Kate Moss kinda day and a Helena Christensen for when life is just peachy.
The packaging stays true to the Barnes brand with sleek and sexy black and gold components. One of the things I love the most about purchasing (and using) Scott’s products is that everything about them screams luxury. They’re beautiful to wear as well as stunning to have sitting in your beauty space. The new items range from $18-$84 and are now live on the official ScottBarnes website.
Below you can check out all of the products, and while you shop away keep in mind while you can’t use codes on the beautiful, new Glamazon pieces you can use my code ‘JESSE’ on other Scott Barnes products on the site. Be sure to also check out Scott’s latest YouTube video where he goes in-depth on creating this supermodel worthy collection.
