Outfit Inspiration: Seeing Double (“Beverly Hills 90210” Tribute)

My favorite 90’s t.v. show Beverly Hills 90210 turns 30 years old this month (I know, that made me feel old too!) So I wanted this week’s look to be a tribute to one of my favorite Brenda and Kelly focused episodes.

The ‘Spring Dance’ gives us Brenda and Kelly ending up in the same dress for the big event- oh the teenage horror! Both girls were smitten by the dress while shopping, but mutually agreed on not purchasing it. Then comes the night of the dance and surprise, surprise both went back and bought it! Now even though I am and will always be #TeamKelly, both ladies looked lovely in their black & white frocks. I have created a modern day take on the look adding a little length and moving the bow detailing down to the hip. I stuck with Brenda’s elegant strand of pearls, and Kelly’s deep statement making red lip. It’s always fun to revisit these moments and make them feel new again, I hope you enjoy this ensemble as much as I enjoyed creating it!
