Get The Look: Angela Bassett’s Divine Rose Glamour At The 78Th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Colorful makeup seemed to be a theme last night and I for one can more than get on board for that. When it comes to ageless beauty Angela Bassett leads the pack. The Black Panther star brought her makeup A-game to yesterday’s Golden Globes radiating major rosy energy.
Donning a feathery deep plum Dolce & Gabbana number Ms Bassett was the picture of regal elegance. When it came to her makeup, artist D’Andre Michael created one of the most standout looks of the evening. Using Pat McGrath’s beloved Devine Rose collection (a personal favorite of mine) D’Andre enhanced her beautiful brown eyes with rich tones of rose and lilac. Angela’s skin was also something to rave about; the rosy effect kept going with her glowy highlighted cheeks giving her all around radiant finish. For the lips it was all about going matte in a gorgeous deep mauve shade for a little more rose love. This is certainly one woman who seems to be progressing like a fine wine, only getting better and better! I also love that she is down to have a good time with her makeup and embrace some much needed glamour after a year long red carpet drought.
