Get The Look: Kate Hudson’s Icy Eyes and Candy Lips At The 78th Annual Venice Film Festival

It’s been a while since we had a glorious Kate Hudson moment on the red carpet, but thanks to the Venice Film Festival that all changed this week. Kate The Great showed up looking every inch the movie star that she is, giving us a look to remember.
Donning a voluminous, sheer gown in signature Valentino red, Kate floated down the red carpet at the premiere of Mona Lisa and the Blood Man. Since the dress serves plenty of drama and sexiness, the beauty look stayed true to Kate’s signature sweet, bohemian style (with a splash of glamour respectfully.) Makeup artist Quinn Murphy kept the face fresh with a natural, skin-like finish and played up her beautiful green eyes with a little eyeliner and a smattering of icy cool-toned eyeshadow with just a hint of sparkle. For the lips Murphy first stained Kate’s pout with a cool-toned medium red, then topped it off with a dark peachy-nude liquid lipstick and a touch of glistening lip balm. This created the perfect juicy pink lip, that was neither too dark or too light. When you have those naturally stunning, California girl good looks it doesn’t take much to get you to movie star level glam; and I love the balance of softness and fierceness that this look exudes.
