It is never a dull moment at an awards show when the forever enchanting and entertaining Taylor Swift is in the audience. For tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor (who held multiple nominations) was a sparkling vision in an Oscar de la Renta mini dress draped in shimmering strands of light-catching crystals. Not only did the hitmaker win big on the fashion scale, she also took home the biggest award of the evening-Video of The Year.
If you’re going to have a special evening, you obviously need a special look and who better to glam up the Grammy winner’s face than the Mother of Makeup herself, Pat McGrath. To complement Taylor’s sparkler of a dress Pat took inspo to crystalize the eyes too. After laying down a a deep rosy, slightly smoked out eye, Pat added a v-shaped set of iridescent crystals that framed the superstar’s piercing blue eyes. This look is a little bit 1920’s flapper meets futuristic glamour and I am all the way here for it!
