Get The Look: Olivia Wilde’s Smoked Out Golden Plum Eyes & Soft Mauve Lips At The “Don’t Worry Darling” Premiere During The Venice Film Festival
With all of the dramatic media buzz surrounding actress-turned-director Olivia Wilde’s upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, a magical red carpet moment was just the palette cleanser we all needed.
For the movie’s big Venice Film Festival premiere Olivia showed up looking like a modern day movie star, from her glamourous, embellished canary custom Gucci gown to her stunning smoked eyes and soft wavy hair. To create this positively dazzling look, makeup artist Wendy Rowe played up Wilde’s striking green eyes by smoking out warm shades of plum and chocolate with hints of golden shimmer. Her skin exuded a subtle golden glow accompanied by romantic rosy cheeks, while her lips were a soft mauvey-pink matte. I love that this look is classic Olivia, and takes me back to the days when she really amped up the heavy Hollywood glam (which totally works for her.)
