If anyone knows how to work a red carpet and give us a major movie star moment it’s none other than Nicole Kidman, and that is just what she did at Monday evening’s annual Met Gala.

Stepping out in a showstopping sequin and feather custom Chanel Couture gown in a stunning shade of deep ruby, Nicole made quite the bold statement. It’s no secret I have a lifelong love affair with glamour, particularly feathers and sparkle so this elegant showgirl vibe is very much p my alley, and no surprise one of my favorite looks of the evening. Nicole’s bone straight, inches upon inches of buttery blonde locks (done by the amazing Adir Abergel) and radiant makeup were the perfect accessories to up the drama. Makeup artist extraordinaire Gucci Westman created warm sunset inspired eyes accompanied by luminous gold skin, rich peachy cheeks and a deep mauve lip. The balance between the fashion and the glam here is a perfect example of how Ms. Kidman always understands the assignment and leaves us wanting more and more.
