Beauty Report: Kylie Cosmetics Summer Vacation Collection

If there is one thing the Kardashian-Jenners know how to do very well it’s vacation in style.

While I have had both hits and misses with the ever so popular Kylie Cosmetics line, when the brand announces a new collection I still find myself wanting to see it. And I must say, Kylie’s Summer Vacation collection has left me quite impressed. Of course packaging can often do that, it’s not until you receive the products and try them out yourself that you can truly form a solid opinion. My personal favorite Kylie item has been her burgundy palette. Even though she is most well know for her lip products, the shadows were more of a stand-out for me. That’s why I am so intrigued by this resort inspired line. The ‘Take Me On Vacation’ palette looks absolutely stunning. When I look at it, it gets me excited to have it in my hands, which is exactly what makeup is suppose to do. There are 16 new shades in a mixture of both shimmer and matte formulas, as well as a dual ended Kylie eye brush. The color range (from sandy browns to mermaidy blues) and packaging both ooze a luxurious getaway vibe, that make you want to glam it up in paradise. The collection also includes a ‘Skinny Dip’ bronzer/highlight face palette, ‘Ultra Glow’ loose highlighters, a ‘Wet Set’ pressed highligter palette with 4 new shades, 2 new glitter glosses, a Junebug matte lipstick kit, and 2 new nude lip sets in both matte and velvet formulas. Prices have yet to be announced, though any regular KC fan can judge fairly well by now on what each item will cost. There will also be a beauty bundle available which gives customers the option of scooping up all the items at once. The collection goes on sale on June 15th at 12pm EST (3pm PST) and is expected to sale out-as usual. Below is a sneak peek of all the items, including a few swatches.
