Selena Gomez has been keeping fans waiting on new music for a minute now, but the wait is over and she is back and better than ever. Her new song “Single Soon” just dropped a sassy new music video, and of course the Rare Beauty founder gave us a going out look that oozes plenty of glitz and glamour.
For the main scene in the video, Selena dons an early 00’s look including a sparkling fuchsia corset by The Andamane paired with cut-off Zara shorts, accompanied by an array of fun & flirty James Banks jewelry. When it came to her beauty look, makeup artist Melissa Murdick wanted to keep things in harmony with the song which is all about embracing being a single gal, ready to hit the town. Using all Rare Beauty products (naturally) Melissa took inspo from Selena’s vibrant outfit, using pops of pink and purple to give her a softly smoked out eye with a winged out effect. Her skin was glowing and bronzy, while her lips had just a wash of pretty rosy color. I love how this makeup captures Selena’s fearless, feminine energy and celebrates the joy of getting dressed up to go out and have a little fun with your best guys & girls!
