Kat Von D’s Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette has become a staple amongst the beauty community. Known for it’s wearable shades and buttery blendablity, it only made sense to expand on the popular product.
Today Kat Von D released the brand’s new Shade + Light Glimmer palette. Looking identical to it’s matte sister in both shade and layout, the only difference being this palette brings the sparkle. All twelve shades are perfect for lid color, and a dream for guys and gals who love to twinkle. I will say from the swatches I’ve seen the formula looks to be a bit more on the shimmery side than glittery. So if you don’t like the intense, often times chunky look of glitter shades this will be right up your alley. Like all Kat Von D products the palette is completely free of animal-derived ingredients, and retails for only $1 more than the Shade + Light matte collection, making it a cool $49 at Sephora.
I’m excited to see this palette in person and decide for myself if it is indeed a must-have item. Palettes like these are very much in my wheelhouse- neutrals plus glitter? Sign me up.
