Makeup Must-Have: Urban Decay Velvetizer Translucent Mix-In Medium

Like most oily skinned girls I am constantly looking for ways to make my foundation look smoother and my pores look smaller. While I have a few products I love that definitely help out in that department, I have never found anything that blew me away. That was until I ran across Urban Decay’s Velvetizer Mix-in Medium.

After reading about the product I thought the concept sounded a bit crazy. mixing powders and liquids are known to create clumpy disasters. But I started seeing so many of my favorite beauty gurus raving about it and decided it was worth a try. First of all, this powder is the most finely milled I have ever seen, which explains why it mixes so well with liquid foundations. It’s not at all heavy, and all you need is a dime size amount. Mix it with a pump or 2 (or 3 if you’re extra like me) and apply it to the face with your favorite brush or Beauty Blender. If you have combo/oily skin I think you will love this just as much as I do, but if you’re on the drier side it might not be your favorite. Just remember every skin type is different and what works great on one person, may be a total fail on another. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes smooth, poreless skin, so the fact that I am raving about this says it all.
